Turlough Gorman, recently co-opted onto the Board of TOSINI as Assistant Treasurer brings with him a strong background of commercial and business skills to the Board from his experience in retail, manufacturing, the service and public sector as well as skills gained on other Boards. Turlough holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the UUJ, a PostGrad Dip in Personnel Management from QUB and is currently studying towards a LLM in Employment Law at the University of Surrey. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and is currently the Human Resources Manager for Sport Northern Ireland where his remit extends across all aspects of Human Resources and Training as well as acting in an advisory capacity to Governing Bodies of Sport, community organizations and other institutions SNI supports. Turlough is also on the Executive Committee at NIACRO and is an Advisory Board Member for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Northern Ireland. In addition to his employment and board memberships, two of Turlough’s big passions are his love for travelling and music. It was his love for music that attracted him to the valuable work of TOSINI. As a baritone, Turlough has performed in church choirs, choral groups as well as having had solo performances.
