This is a special course for people who sing in choirs but may not have had much formal training. Facilitator Lucy Champion will focus on improving your choral singing technique, addressing posture, breathing, the basics of producing a note, breath control, improving pitch in a choral context, and working as a group to get the best vocal blend.
Participants should prepare a song or verse of a song (no longer than 1 minute) in any style of their choice to sing during the course.

Advanced Choral Singing Course

• Or are you a choral conductor?
Anúna singer Lucy Champion presents a special series of workshops for advanced choral singers and conductors. Lucy will focus on improving your choral skills by addressing common challenges that advanced choirs encounter. Elements covered will include diction, pronunciation, vowel sounds, improving pitch in a choral context, working as a group to get the best vocal blend, and stage etiquette.
Participants should:
-read music
-sing regularly in a choir to semi-professional level
-have sung at least once as a soloist within a choir
-be over 18 years of age - no upper age limit
