Thanks to those who have already responded to my earlier mailing - and for those still in suspense I am happy to confirm that we are not performing this Sunday after all, but on the later date, which seems to suit most of you. 

We are going to perform Cantata BWV 72 (Alles nur nach Gottes willen) on 24th January, at 4.30 at St Thomas's on Eglantine Avenue. This is for the usual forces of SATB chorus and soloists with string orchestra, plus oboes.  

Instrumentalists should bring a music stand as usual. There will be a short break for tea and biscuits before the service at 7, in the course of which we will perform the cantata in full. St Thomas's of course welcomes visitors and if you have friends who do not perform but enjoy Bach, do ask them to come along to the service. 

If you have not already done so, please let me know if you are available and willing to perform this month, so that we can establish the gaps that need to be filled.
